Place the PCD3H challenge pack in a more challenging location inside the autoclave chamber, usually near the door or the drain.
Carry out the sterilization cycle as normal, wait for the autoclave cooling time recommended by the manufacturer and remove the Biological Indicator Monitor - IB3H from the package and break the glass ampoule in an appropriate place in the incubator, or using specific pliers for this purpose and insert the ampoule into a cavity in the incubator. Always use the unprocessed ampoule that comes with the PCD3H as a pilot, or against
test, in order to prove the presence and growth of bacteria.
